“What do you do all day, anyway??”
Disregarding the decidedly skeptical tone in which this question was posed, I thought it would be a great thing to ask a few entrepreneurs and independent workers that I know.
Here’s a sampling of what they told me.
A few things stood out to me:
- Everyone works, a LOT.
- But everyone’s also highly engaged in what they’re doing.
- Work flexes around life (exercise, meals, friends and families, fun), but this doesn’t mean that life pushes work aside.
- Even though no one reports to an office, they’re all in constant contact with peers, partners, and mentors.
Inspired to make my own list, I realized that I do a lot more than I (or my cube-dwelling employee friends) give myself credit for.
What do you do all day (anyway!)?
